Search volatility and latest Google update

Independent publication

About us

The story behind an independent publication covering SEO, experiments and ideas from the iGaming industry.

Well… about me.

I studied English literature at the University of Niš and got my first writing job translating economic and political news into Serbian. Freelancing on Upwork came next, writing for anyone who would pay. In December 2017 that turned into HIREQUARTERS, a content and SEO agency that now spends about nine tenths of its time in iGaming. In nine years we have published more than 10 million words on 200+ websites in 30+ languages.

Most of that work is for the companies that care about search more than anyone else: gambling affiliates. We write and do SEO for Grandstand (formerly Gambling.com Group), Better Collective, Catena Media, Raketech and Gentoo Media, alongside operators and B2B brands. Affiliates live and die by rankings, so the lessons arrive fast and uninvited: what a Google update actually did, which links moved something, which content was worth its invoice.

Some of that work became public. I write for iGB Affiliate and Gambler Media, I have published four features in GPWA Times, and I joined the iGaming SEO panel at the AffPapa Conference in Madrid in 2026. In November 2026 I speak on SEO vs GEO for LatAm brands at AffPapa Cancún. HIREQUARTERS was named Best Upwork Agency in Serbia in 2020, shortlisted for Best Digital Agency at the iGB Affiliate Awards in 2020 and 2025, nominated for Best Marketing Agency at the SiGMA Affiliate Grand Slam in 2020, 2022 and 2025, and nominated for Client Satisfaction of the Year at the AffPapa Awards in 2026. In 2026 Clutch listed it among the Top Content Writing Services in Serbia, and DesignRush named it a Top Content Marketing Agency. I am certified by Ahrefs Academy in Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and the Ahrefs marketing platform (2026).

And iGamingSEO.com?

In October 2026 I bought the domain and rebuilt the site from scratch, because searching for iGaming SEO mostly turns up someone selling something: agency pages, link sellers and guides that end in a pricing table. I run an agency, so I know how that content gets written. Here I write about what I see in real campaigns: link prices, content tests, Google updates and the mistakes we paid for.

The rule for everyone on the site, me included, is to show your work. That means named people, real results and credentials you can check. A directory listing is free, and getting in is harder.

You should know where I stand. HIREQUARTERS is in the directory, labeled as mine. Nobody pays for a listing, and the directory has no affiliate links. The AI page explains what AI does here and what it does not do.

If you have a case study or an experiment with numbers I can check, send it to me.

I drink water. A lot of it.
